Published: 18 August 2026 | Zhongshan, China
Night Watcher Light today confirmed its Q4 2026 production capacity and published updated lead times for Christmas and festive lighting orders. From August 2026, our Zhongshan facility has entered peak-season scheduling for LED string lights, christmas lights, motif lights, and custom decorative structures. Orders remain open throughout the season — from August through January — with no fixed cut-off date. Earlier confirmation simply secures an earlier production slot and more shipping options. For buyers planning installations in the 2026 festive season, the deciding factor is no longer only production time: sea freight transit and customs clearance now determine whether goods arrive before installation begins.
Our production lines entered peak-season allocation in August 2026, and orders remain open throughout the season until January 2027 — there is no fixed order cut-off. Capacity is released in the following order of priority:

Confirmed repeat orders
New standard-product orders
Custom motif and project orders
Late-stage rush orders
We publish this update every year because the most common problem we see is not product quality. It is timing. A buyer confirms an order in October, the product is produced correctly, and the goods still miss the installation window because nobody counted the shipping weeks.
Lead time depends on product category, not order value. The table below separates the two paths buyers most often confuse.

Figures above are working-day estimates from order confirmation to ex-works handover. Packaging artwork approval may run in parallel with production where artwork is confirmed early, which can shorten the total. Sea transit, customs clearance, and inland delivery are additional and are not included.
A custom motif light is not simply a bigger version of a standard product. It requires drawing confirmation, frame fabrication, electrical layout review, and protective packaging design. Each of these steps can absorb days that buyers did not budget for.
If your project involves custom patterns, project-specific dimensions, branded packaging, or a coordinated product series, we recommend adding buffer time beyond the table above. For the full sourcing logic behind this, see our guide on one-stop vs multi-supplier sourcing for urban lighting projects.
We do not enforce a seasonal order cut-off. From August through January, we continue to accept new orders for standard products, custom projects, and urgent requests. What changes as the season progresses is not availability — it is capacity and shipping options.
The practical advice is simple: earlier confirmation means an earlier production slot, more freight choices, and a larger buffer for customs and inland delivery. A buyer who confirms in September has more options than a buyer who confirms in December, even though both orders are accepted.
For projects with a fixed installation date, we still recommend sharing your target arrival date at quotation stage. This lets us schedule production to protect your window, and lets you compare sea freight, LCL consolidation, and air freight options realistically. Air freight remains available throughout the season for urgent or short-lead items.
Q4 is peak season for container bookings out of South China, and space tightens as the quarter progresses. We recommend buyers:

Confirm the shipping method early
1. — sea freight, LCL consolidation, or air freight for urgent items
Decide who books the container
2. — supplier-arranged or buyer-nominated forwarder
Prepare import documents in advance
3. — invoice, packing list, certificates, and any market-specific files
Allow buffer time for customs clearance
4. — this varies by destination and cannot be compressed
Plan inland delivery
5. — especially for project sites with restricted access or delivery windows
For European buyers, documentation gaps are a frequent cause of late-stage delay. Our guide on EU festive lighting compliance covers which files to confirm before goods are packed.

Yes. We accept orders throughout the season — from August through January — with no fixed cut-off. Standard products generally have shorter lead times than custom items. Send us your required quantity, destination port, and installation date, and we will confirm whether the timeline is achievable before you commit.
Standard products follow an established production route with no drawing approval stage. Custom motif lights and project decorations require drawing confirmation, frame fabrication, and protective packaging design, which adds time before mass production can begin.
No. We accept orders from August through January with no fixed cut-off. The earlier you confirm, the earlier your production slot and the wider your shipping options. For projects with a fixed installation date, send us your target arrival date and we will schedule production to protect that window.
Yes. Importers and wholesalers often combine string lights, motif lights, and accessories in one shipment. Consolidating categories in a single container can improve freight efficiency compared with separate bookings.
Send the product type, quantity, voltage and plug requirements, packaging format, destination port, and required arrival date. If the order is custom, include reference images or drawings. This allows us to give a realistic schedule rather than a general estimate.
If you are planning festive lighting for the 2026 season, send us your product list, destination, and installation date. We will confirm current capacity, realistic lead times, and shipping options before you place the order.
